New mountain bike words you should know.
English is a fast moving, dynamic language. Just as soon as you think you have a grasp on the subject a whole bunch of new words come charging in.
So get afternoonified and you won’t be considered bricky.
Approadence: Stopping in the middle of the trail in order to get off and walk around an obstacle.
Berallurity: A crash so brutal you forget how to speak.
Callaratifying: The act of repeating a story while drunk.
Culdaidem: Contraction of the words “could have” and “did not”. Usage: “I culdaidem clear that technical section”.
Garized: What happened after you graze pedal down the side of your car as you take it off your roof rack.
Genizers: Bird watchers and equestrians.
Magowner: Feeling like shit in the morning after spending the night in a tent with a friend.
Pettler: Those annoying little rocks that keep hitting your downtube.
Savahorned: Pulling off a last minute save in order to avoid total disaster.
Sounnession: An expression used after you clear a death defying section of trail. “That was a sounnession brah!”
Warmle: The opposite of coldle
